Motherboard Repair & Data Recovery Agreement – Big Time Phone Repair
Repair Outcome & Risk:
I understand that motherboard repairs and data recovery are complex and success is not guaranteed. My device may be irreparable even after diagnostic or repair attempts, especially if critical components such as the CPU, memory chips, or power management circuits are damaged.
Diagnostic Deposit & Payments:
All diagnostic deposits and down payments are nonrefundable. Once paid, the deposit cannot be returned, even if you decide not to proceed with the repair. If you choose to move forward with the repair, your deposit will be applied toward the total repair cost. This ensures that any amount you’ve already paid goes directly toward completing your repair.
Turnaround Time:
Typical turnaround time is 5–7 business days, but some repairs may take up to 5–12 business days depending on complexity or off-site processing.
Off-Site Repairs & Cancellation:
Some motherboard or micro-soldering repairs may be completed off-site. If I want to cancel before repair begins, I must provide at least 3 business days’ notice. All deposits remain nonrefundable under any circumstance.
Passcode Requirement:

Additional/Hidden Issues:
I understand that restoring power or repairing the motherboard may reveal additional issues (e.g., bad screen, camera, battery, charging port, or other components). No additional repairs will be made without my approval. If I choose to repair any newly discovered issues, I will receive a discount on those additional repairs.
Warranty:
Motherboard repairs include a 45-day warranty covering only the specific repair performed. The warranty does not cover unrelated issues, pre-existing damage, mishandling, water damage, or other damages. If my repair involves charging-related damage, using old or faulty chargers or cables can immediately damage the motherboard again. To keep my warranty valid, I must use new, high-quality, certified chargers and cables. Any failure caused by reusing old accessories is not covered under warranty.
Customer Acknowledgment:
I understand the risks, process, and limitations associated with motherboard repair and data recovery. I authorize Big Time Phone Repair to perform diagnostics and attempt repair(s) under the policies listed above.
