Port & Connector Repair – Big Time Phone Repair

Repair Outcome & Risk:
I understand that repairs involving ports and connectors (such as charging ports, HDMI ports, USB ports, and similar components) require advanced board-level work, and success is not guaranteed. In some cases, the port itself may not be the only issue, and the device may still not function if other internal problems exist, such as damaged motherboard traces, failed chips, liquid damage, or previous repair damage. Additional internal issues discovered during the repair process may require further repair at additional cost.

Deposit & Payments:
All deposits and down payments are nonrefundable. Once paid, the deposit cannot be returned, even if I decide not to proceed with the repair. If I choose to move forward with the repair, my deposit will be applied toward the total repair cost.

Turnaround Time:
Typical turnaround time is 3–5 business days, but some port repairs may take longer depending on complexity or off-site processing.

Off-Site Repairs & Cancellation:
Some port repairs may be completed off-site. If I want to cancel before repair begins, I must provide at least 2 business days’ notice. All deposits remain nonrefundable under any circumstance.

Additional/Hidden Issues:
I understand that repairing the port, including HDMI or charging ports, may reveal other issues with my device, such as motherboard or power supply problems, overheating, hard drive or memory failures, liquid or corrosion damage, or other hardware issues that could prevent the device from functioning. No additional repairs will be made without my approval, and any further repairs will be quoted separately.

Warranty:
Port repairs include a 30-day warranty covering only the specific repair performed. The warranty does not cover pre-existing damage, misuse, or failure caused by old or faulty chargers or accessories.

Customer Acknowledgment:
I understand the risks, process, and limitations associated with port repair. I authorize Big Time Phone Repair to perform and attempt repair(s) in accordance with the policies listed above.
